David Bowie R.I.P

It was so sad to hear of David Bowie’s passing today. He was a true legend and icon.

During the 70’s and 80’s I interviewed many top musicians and bands of the day – from Ian Dury and The Damned to Madness. The majority said Bowie was one of their main musical influences, as he was mine.

I was lucky enough to briefly meet David in Miami in the early 90’s. It will forever be one of my most joyous and treasured memories.

Gone but never forgotten.
